Pouches vs. Loose dip

This morning I finished my can of cope straight , and after work I was thinking "crap , I got no dip!". I went to a gas station near where I work and decided to try cope wintergreen pouches. People say if you use pouches then you're a pussy, Why is that? Also, What are the differences between pouches and "loose dip" (I don't know if there is a correct name for this), Like the pros/cons of using pouches? how many of y'all out there use pouches?
