LPT request: How to keep car mounts stick to glass permanently?

The suction portion is identical.

I really like the one I have now, it's small, light, and is non-stick. I had a sticky/glue one before that peeled off by itself during the summer due to heat and now that section of my dashboard is permanently sticky (LPT on how to remove sticky residue...?)

Problem is that it's -always- falling off. Usually it's overnight and it's off in the morning when I go to work, but every now and then it falls off when I have GPS on my phone guiding me. Needless to say it's not good to have my phone off when I have an exit coming soon and I miss it.
