How much hard is install CM13?

I'm not android type guy. My Zenfone 2 is my first android device. I can't wait official update release. When I check https://redd.it/418fcw there are too many overwhelming steps for newbie like me. Do I really have to follow all those steps? Even after somehow I manage follow them, current CM13 state is worth?
