Projector that has the best black levels for under $1000

I'm looking to get a projector for an apt, coupled with a 90" grey screen. I can't paint the walls, they are all white. I'm looking to maximise on black levels, within my budget of $1k. I've been looking at the BenQ 1070. Any others I should check out? Thanks!
