Too early to ask for number or hang out on tinder? (m18) (f19)

So I'm a college student and just started using tinder so I'm a bit inexperienced. I matched with this other girl who goes to my university and I waited a couple days to message her by suggestion of some of my friends. She responded fairly quickly and we sent about 40-50 messages over the course of the day. She would respond within the minute most of the time which is a good sign. We had a more interesting than average tinder conversation but it was getting late so I figured I'd give a simple response and just go to sleep. She was definitely enthusiastic throughout and I think I played my cards right as far as keeping the convo interesting for the most part. We haven't talked since yesterday when we had the convo, and I'm thinking about asking her to eat lunch sometime this week, is that a good idea?
