Somehow my game saves are gone. (XboxOne)

Fired up the game to play with my son and my saved game was gone. I'm still a level 13, but all my cars are gone. Anyone else have this happen or know of a solution? The game is awesome so I don't mind unlocking the stuff again, but it may need to be addressed, so it doesn't happen again.
