CT-SICU Post Ops

So, there's been talk on my unit that other hospitals don't pair there CT-Surg post ops (i.e. CABGx123 , AVR, MVR, Heart Trans, Lung Trans, VADs)

Does anyone have an experience with this? On my unit, we pair the post-ops and just try to manage the other patient appropriately with the help of co-workers.
