Livesplit help, or am I just dumb?

So i just started speed running slender and I decided I wanted to stream it for my viewers. I have streamed slender without live split before, but if I add a live split window from the plugin, OBS crashes. I thought maybe it was normal because its still in beta. But even if I make a window capture of live split, the clock glitches out when counting on stream. It flashes between the default 0:00 time screen and the current time screen. That would be bad enough, but it gets worse. After adding a window capture of live split my obs will crash. Sometimes it crashes in 3 minutes or sometimes its instantly, but it will always crash. I don't know why it happens. Tomorrow I'm going to reinstall obs and live split and see if that fixes it. If not then I will probably end up just screen capturing and playing in windowed mode (which I really don't wanna do) This is really holding me back from starting running and any help would be appreciated.
