Help me with a project I have no idea how to start.

Help! I would like to use a raspberry pi as both a screen mirror for my PC and be able to input commands to the same system. Basically, I want to be able to use the pi as a wireless monitor and mouse for my computer. Ideally I would be able to do this over the internet, but just over wifi would be workable too. Is this possible for someone with minimal programming experience? Thanks!
