[Question] Did anyone else's parents get really mad about the littlest things?

There were a lot of things like this, but this is the one that's standing out to me right now: My family and I were eating out, and I blew my nose (I have really bad allergies, I had some family issues with that as well, but that's a story for another time). Sorry if this is TMI, but I rubbed the tissue inside my nose a bit to dry it, since it was dripping like a fountain. My mom starts screaming at me, IN PUBLIC, about how disgusting I am, how I'm embarrassing her, how everyone is looking at us and thinks I'm gross for doing that.

My dad interjects and asks what's the big deal, and she starts saying, "She wants to feel inside it, she's picking inside it to feel all the stuff in it." This was a while ago, so I don't remember what she said after that, but she went on and on, and I was just blowing my nose.
