Montoya & The Questionable Legacy

Let me preface this by saying I am a huge comics reader, have been nearly all my life. I get that this show takes place in a different universe, and I really do love the show, but

Renee Montoya SPOILER

But, how do you think they will fit in Victor Sage or even if they will? Within the comics, Victor is about the same age as Bruce, with Renee becoming his protege and only being a little bit younger, yet here she is one of the older ones. I have a two theories on when they get to that story line, how it could play out well and surprise audiences SPOILER

• Renee has a daughter, Renee dies protecting Bruce, Father names daughter Renee after her mother. That Renee goes on to be tutored by Sage

• Renee passes on the mantle to a young Victor (reversing the roles while keeping the classic characters)

What do you think? Should they introduce Victor somehow? Or make it work another way without him passing on the legacy?
