Don't know who else to tell this too, except you guys.
I recently came out to my gf of 3 years about my doubts in christianity. She and her whole family are pentecostal christians, as was I for a couple of years until my recent clashes with philosophy, science classes and just trying to be reasonable and logical about how I felt and what was actually real to me.
I told her how I felt and she started crying, trying to convince me about my doubts, but I told her I just wasn't sure and was leaning more towards not believing in the bible. I really thought she was going to break up with me but she didn't. We talked for a while and then carried on with our day. At first it was akward but after a week it seems like were back to how our relationship was without the awkardness. Except i've noticed she mentions god a bit more in our conversations. Nothing pushy though.
I want to marry this girl. Has anyone here gone through this? Or are any of you here married to someone religious and have made it worked regardless? Thanks guys. This subreddit was one of the reasons why I decided to say how I felt and also to reflect further on what I believed to be true to me.
