Ps2 Demo disc not recognizable?

So i bought a demo disc a few days ago and apon putting it in my ps2 It played very slow and gitchey. So i turned the system off and tried again and now it wont even recognize. This is not a problem with any of my other games and the disc is in mint condition with no marks what so ever.

I also put it in my pc and ran it on an emulator to see if it was my ps2 but the same thing happens, super glitchey and slow at points.

Any idea what it could be? :/
