TA-50 in a shared barracks closet

So I'm living in the barracks where I not only share a room with my roommate, but I also share a closet. There are no wall lockers or cages in the barracks or at work. I do keep my TA-50 in a locked gorilla box in my closet, but it's pretty flimsy plastic and I know I'd be kidding myself if I said that it makes it more secure. We recently had to sign something at work saying we wouldn't store our TA-50 in our cars or commercial storage facilities because too many people had their stuff stolen. So my question is, how is my shit secure in my room? If some of my stuff goes missing, I'd have no idea if my roommate stole it and sold it, or if they had a friend over who took it, or maybe it was someone in barracks management came in while I was gone and helped themselves. There are zero cameras in our barracks.

I doubt anything would happen to my TA-50, but it bothers me that I have nowhere truly secure to keep my stuff.
