Can I get some info/help off of anyone that bike messages in Melbourne city Australia?!

I'm looking at moving to Melbourne in the near future and Im thinking of changing my line of work, and bike messenger has crossed my mind a couple of times. It would be a great way to learn the city and would be a welcomed change from what I'm used to.

I guess my question to anyone who works there already is, how much work is there for a messenger down there and what's the pay/hrs like? I know there's no standard income for this line of work, but I'm just chasing some figures from the guys and girls that live this already. So even just the worst week to the best week income maybe?

Any help and/or advice would be much appreciated.

I have been racing velodrome for a while so I am fit and can ride.
