Winter really hates birds [Spoilers]

Did anyone else notice that in Winter and Qrow's fight, Episode 3 of Volume 3, Winter summoned about 100 birds? Now, normally I wouldn't think anything of this but Winter also states in the next episode that summoning is based on the creatures that the summoner has slain. So that means Winter has killed the living shit out of a lot of birds.

Probably explains why she "hates" Qrow so much.
