Electronics repair request (soldering)

Good evening r/Calgary!

I'll make this quick, my electronic vaporizer's microUSB charging port broke off, and instead of submitting an RMA to the manufacturer, I'd like to explore the option of having the connection soldered locally.

I'm considering showing up at http://protospace.ca/event/meetgeek-weekly/?instance_id=1580 but I feel it would be rude to show up with the sole intention of having someone repair my electronics.

Any suggestions of local businesses that could help me, or better yet, a redditor? There's a six pack in it (of your choosing) for anyone able to oblige.
