Griffin RTA Geekvape Stripped Grubscrews

Right out of the box I stripped one of the screws. Since the post holes are so large, is there a problem with using one hole for both coils. Its the negative post. My limited electric knowledge said go ahead try it. Seems to work. Will I damage any regulated mod? Thanks for the help.
