Business Classes

Hello, I had a quick question regarding a college course that I took.

I took "Business: Law and Society"can that class be considered a Business Law course?

I got an interview and I was offered the job then they said I don't qualify because I took business law and society and not business law.

On the class requirement for the job it states "at least one course each in basic accounting and business or commercial law"

I took financial accounting and they're fine with it being considered a basic accounting course but they're not okay with my business law and society course being considered business law :(

The hiring manager said she wants to hire me but HR doesn't because Business Law and Society isn't Business Law. Any input would be awesome!
