The minimap and spotting questiond

I play alot of Battlefield 4 and rely on the minimap for enemy movements when they fired and also for spotting off and on the minimap.

I only had time to play The Division for 3 hours and did not managed to test extensively.

My questions are,

1. If I fire with or without suppressor, will I or my enemies (that fired upon me) be shown on the minimap? and will I be spotted visually (those squares outlining my character).

2)Whats with those squares on a npc and players?

3. If I go rogue, will I be displayed on my enemies' minimaps? and can they visually spot me beyond the walls and covers? I noticed I can spot some rogues by the red squares. Is there a way to not be spotted? Will the scrambler mod help?

Appreciate if anyone can answer some of these questions.
