Just dropping my appreciation!!
So basically I have been skinny all my life, never managed to pack on weight. Ever since i was 17 i tried to bulk up but I have been approaching it the wrong way all this time.
I attempted to improve alot of times and worked out but I would always give up due to eather work/school/not feeling well or pure laziness. But this time its different i found out about this sub. I never before counted calories and how much I actually eat per day and now when I crunched the numbers I got baffled on how little calories I was actually eating.
Now I started working out 2 months ago but nothing too much just set a goal that i would try to eat more eat healthier and work out at home (do pushups and lift some dumbells). But still I was fucking around too much and not meeting my goals even tho I got from being barely able to do 30 pushups to 250 in 15 min.
I started counting my calories and eating 3200 calories each day for the past 2 weeks and I have to say I never felt better in my life. I started to improve my phisical appearance but I never thought I would feel soo much better. Outside of farting and being bloated after I drink my shakes I feel so energetic and its amazing.
Anyways just wanted to thank this subreddit since I know most of you know how it is to be skinny and wanting to change and all the progress posts as well as resources provided are amazing.
Just have a quick question to end it all.
For the past 2 weeks since I am unable to squat properly without lifting my heels I have been doing the stopgap program. And have basically practiced doing goblet squats. Now I have seen some improvement but even with a broom I cant properly squat all the way without raising my heels and I'm out of balance when I try.
I planned on doing the SL program and squats are a big part of it. Should I still sign up for a gym and try to do it without going down all the way or practice some more before I attempt. I saw that placing lifts under your feet helps and even with that I'm still not able to do it properly and that is without any weight on my shoulders..
Anyhow thanks for reading this and may Brodin be with you all!
