Indoor cacti repotting question (pictures inside, x-posted from r/cacti)
My great aunt died and I inherited one of her cacti. I'm thinking that I should probably re-pot it as the pot that it is in is tiny, but the whole big thing seems to be hanging from a tiny thread. Can I just bury that thread in the new pot or does this kind of cacti need to hang?
I live in the US state of Oregon (approximately zone 8b), but the cacti will be staying inside.
