I just read this article about an elderly woman who is getting evicted from her house. This deeply disturbs me on several levels and I want to do something about it.

What does the community think of a fundraising platform that allows verified elders to post a campaign for utilities, rent, and other necessary expenses to be directly crowd-funded by people who want to help? Would you contribute regular finances to an elderly person like this?
