[UN] UN MINUSL Joint Deployment

[m] Figured as the one who started the Libya action, I should finally get around to putting on of these up. I'm sorry for the delay, I was out of the country all week, but I should be back to normal activity now! ITT, announce whatever you're sending to MINUSL in Libya, if you would like to deploy peacekeepers.

Following the successful adoption of the Libyan peacekeeping deployment, Canadian Lieutenant General Marc Bergerois is beginning to gather UN troops to begin the deployment to Libya. The United Nations passed the resolution asking for 40,000 troops from around the world for the initial stages of the deployment, as well as moderate supplies of armoured vehicles, especially mine-resistant vehicles, such as the RG-31, a UN favourite, due to it's non-threatening appearance.

Troops that deploy on UN peacekeeping operations are payed US$1,332 a month, usually in addition to existing salaries, a good salary and a good incentive for those interested. Lt. General Bergerois is hoping for a widely multinational taskforce, consisting of experienced, well-trained and well-disciplined forces from around the world, although an emphasis on local nations, especially those who speak Arabic and have cultural ties to Libya, will be required.

All nations interested in deploying should respond as soon as possible, to allow the deployment to begin quickly and effectively. Any nations requiring assistance for the transport of troops can request additional support, and nations with heavy lift aircraft in the area, if willing, may be assigned to assist.

The Government of Canada would like to thank all parties in advance, for their efforts on making Libya a safer nation.
