My first find! And a question...

First find was a broken light bulb base. Probably from the 80s. Woo! ;)

I have a Fisher F2. Quite often it seems to get hung up and stops changing numbers or beeping until I either power cycle it or press the pinpointer button. Is there something I am doing wrong?
