Okay I'm an idiot... I lost all my Elite Dangerous DK2 settings... HELP!

Okay so I had everything set up great, I made a bunch of changes that had been recommended over the last year or so to get the best graphical performance out of E:D on the DK2 and it worked REALLY well. The problem was that I decided I wanted it to work in 0.8 and from reading posts here it seemed like I needed to run it through Steam VR.

I thought the easiest way to do this would simply be to acquire and redeem a steam code through Frontier's website, which I did.

The process of adding it to my Steam Library was a bumpy one, it wouldn't allow me to download the game, giving me a, "not enough space on the disk" error until I removed all traces of the game from my hard drive and reinstalled from scratch.

I figured that'd be fine because my save game data is linked to my account so I won't lose ships, money or anything else, so no problem.

However I deleted the old version of the game, downloaded and installed it on Steam and ran it in SteamVR... aaaaand then I remembered why I had made all those edits in the past...

Now it drags horribly in stations and in super-cruise ( a problem I had more or less got rid of altogether before).

I have installed SweetFX in the game folder and that helped with detail and text legibility tremendously. I will also edit the HUD color for ease, but I'm wondering if any of you kind folks would be willing to share your other tips or settings I may have forgotten by any chance?

I seem to remember having gone into some config files and having made some edits in the past as well as changing the in-game settings in a very specific way...

I have done a search both through this sub and my saved posts and there are a BUNCH of recommendations but most are quite old and I can't remember which ones I did / which ones worked, and which ones didn't....

Any help would be welcome, thank you!
