looking for a light, free antivirus with as few false positives as possible, and as much control to stop it from deleting files it deems sketchy as possible. any ideas?

At first I moved from AVG to Avast! because avast doesnt try to delete most of the 'malicious' software I intentionally download. what it is, and why I am downloading it do not matter. I know what Im doing and I want the stuff. it is NOT viruses, maybe it hurts businesses, but it does not harm my PC and its my personal choice that I will pay for if I have to in my own way.

bitdefender is absolutely a no-go, because it just deletes stuff without even asking me for permission. thats too much.

avast! was great, until I started trying to develop software again, and for some reason avast will blacklist simple homebrew applications that calculate numbers, say hello world, or small SDL games. pretty much anything without a professional certificate.

so avast just went from my number 1 to the most evil thing ever in my opinion. I didnt renew it and im done with it forever, and I will be recommending people to switch away from it, especially if anything I make ever sees a public release. (working on a game engine I plan to release open source eventually, and with avast on, it just hangs and crashes, and actually gets STUCK in memory, so I cant even kill it without disabling the AV)

AVG was OK. I met with a lot of the issues of bitdefender, where it said every hacking program, every cracked game (even if its just a No CD hack and I bought the game), every non-business friendly or questionably legal application, and many perfectly legit programs that I torrented as well got blacklisted and removed before I could stop it. I got so frustrated I left for avast!, but now thats out too. but unlike bitdefender I could often somewhat control its behavior.

now I have Avira installed, and it should be alright, except they integrated it with crap windows firewall now so its constantly telling me im 'not secure' because I have windows firewall off. I have a BETTER firewall with HIPS or whatever enabled -- privatefirewall 7.0 and I love it.

Id sooner ditch avira than switch back to windows firewall. I dont want it interrupting my use.

is there any free antivirus that assumes im not a retard, I know what risks to take, and gives me as admin FULL CONTROL of whats going on? No annoying firewall notices, either confirmation upon removing supposedly 'dangerous' files (or at least the ability to PUT THE FILES BACK if I choose to, so it doesnt just delete it upon download), no extra features.

just a simple antivirus with active protection like the old days -- without overly paranoid (or legally/business/commercial profit motivated) scanning algorithms and the ability to CONTROL its behavior -- basically the ability to tell it NOT to delete files and NOT to remove them, or at least be able to take them out of quarantine and put them back on the hard drive at my own volition.

or does everything suck now and attempt to take over my PC for me?
