2 of my PC's are now serving a Demon Prince...

Anyways, so the players I am DMing for were fighting some demons. Our sorcerer who took a beating is at 9 HP and the final demon standing turns on him and attacks. So I roll the D20 and I get a crit. This is the time where the Sorcerer who was standing up peeked at the dice I rolled and decided to proclaim to the whole table "Oh shit, its a nat 20. I am so going to die". Well I was planning on fudging the roll since I didn't want anyone dying on the 4th session but now I was forced to. After I rolled the damage the demon ended up doing a whopping 60 damage. Insta kill. Dropped our sorcerer to -49 HP.

I described to them how the demon triumphantly leaped onto the sorcerer and shred him into smithereens with intestines and body parts flying everywhere.

Anyways, in the Ethereal Realm a Demon Prince (who earlier in the campaign disguised himself and helped the party out occasionally after they saved him from imprisonment unknowingly, but then again I was dropping clues whole time that he wasn't who he said he was. Anyways this isn't important.) offers the sorcerer a chance at life under the condition that his soul is now the demon's. The sorcerer who wanted to play this character for ages agreed to the offer.

Unfortunately, our druid turned into a phase spider earlier and was in the ethereal plane at the time. He overheard the whole conversation. The demon prince took noticed to him. After a short "negotiation" the druid now owes the demon prince two favors.

So back in the material plane the rest of the party (A bard and a monk) witness how the mauled, torn apart corpse of their sorcerer reassembles. The bard inquires about this but the sorcerer can't tell them that he is conspiring with a demon. The druid comes out of his wild shape and screams out that he knows what the sorcerer did. The druid proceeds to tell the Bard what happened but not the monk. He also threatens to kill the Bard if he tells anyone.

So overall, we got a druid who owes two favors to a demon prince. Can blackmail the sorcerer. Threatened the bard. An oblivious monk. A bard that can't really do anything about the situation and a sorcerer who is now the slave of a demon...

I am going to have so much >:)
