Cyclist Road Rules

Hey guys,

I'm a novice at riding a bike on the roads, and wasn't sure about turning rules/etiquette.

  1. How are you expected to turn right into a street? I know you can do a hook turn, but are you expected to and is this the safest/least intrusive method?

  2. If I don't do a hook-turn, do I pull into the centre early and indicate right?

  3. What is a safe way to pull around parallel parked cars without scaring the cars to my right, or totaling myself on tram tracks?
