Apo-modafinil vs Modalert

So I got some apo-modafinil with a script, it's just generic modafinil made by Apotex in Canada. Has anyone tried it, and how does it compare to modalert? I'm wondering if I should bother trying modalert if I have apo-modafinil on hand.
