Getting jersey signed by away team.

I have tickets to the Mavericks at Nuggets on 3/6. My wife ended up getting me an extra Mavs jersey for my birthday. I was wondering what are the chances of me meeting Dirk and having him sign my jersey. Are the away players normally accessible before the game? If so how early should I get there? Any info would be great, thanks. I should mention that my seats are section 106 on the away team side.
