Does DMsGuild seem passive aggressive to anyone else?

WotC got a lot of fall out from fans for the massive and sometimes game breaking bloat. Now they have a business model where the player base is being encouraged to produce and market massive amounts of possibly game breaking bloat for themselves while the company sits back, collects profits without being the bad guy and the community can't complain because they are doing it to themselves . WotC shut down their forums right before releasing DMsGuild and now all the reddits and web based forums are full of posts from people asking for help to quality check and balance their home brewed crap content.
