Bug: Wont let me cast spell. Only zooms in?

I was playing an opponent, he cast a Titanic growth after blockers, and I attempted to cast Scatter the Winds to counter it. But each time I tried, it only zoomed into the card. It would not let me cast it at all. Has anyone else had a similar issue where the card only zooms if you try to cast it?
