[15+ in, USA, <$1100] Looking for a Powerful Gaming Laptop

LAPTOP QUESTIONNAIRE

• Country of purchase: USA

• Budget range: <$1100

• Purpose (netbook, ultraportable, mainstream, gaming, desktop replacement, etc.): Gaming

• Screen size preference: 15+ inches

• OS preference (Windows/Mac/Linux): Not really important, but Windows 10 is preferred

• Gaming requirements (list example games and desired fps/settings): Would like to play games such as Witcher 3 and GTA V on high settings. Will also play simpler games, but would like to run these games with good settings.

• Other performance requirements (video editing, CAD, etc.): Nothing really, other than basic schoolwork.

• Portability requirements (constantly carried, frequently moved, mostly stationary, etc.): Would like some degree of portability, but it will mostly remain stationary.

• Brand preferences and reasons (already owned accessories, familiarity, business compatibility): No preference.

• Any particular style that you like (examples are great): No preference. Which of the following qualities would you prefer? (Choose one or two)

• Long battery life -vs- Low weight -vs- High performance: High performance is by far the most important, I'm not too concerned with battery and weight.

• Build quality -vs- Low price: Build quality is more important as long as it is under $1100. List any critical features: I would like 970M if at all possible with the price range, but 965M is acceptable. Which features would you pay a premium for? (eg. high resolution screen, great keyboard/touchpad/audio, low noise/heat): High resolution and performance are most important.
