1 million dollar loan

This was a business loan right?

Does anybody have any relevant data about the average commercial real estate business loan around the 70s? It would really help in the stumping to have some comparisons.

Basically, I'm under the impression that 1mil is not a lot for that type of loan, but I don't actually have a source.
