When someone posts to this sub, they are reaching out for help. Addiction problems, a series of poor life-choices, financial irresponsibility... It's all irrelevant. This sub is here to help people facing homelessness figure out what their next step is. We are here to provide information. We are not here to judge. We are not here to call them out. We are not here to victim-blame.

If you feel a person doesn't "deserve" your help, then don't help, but keep it to yourself. Criticizing posts will be removed, and users may face temporary bans depending on the severity of their comments.
