Some one explain this to me.
Why, exactly, did Pyrra go back? I mean, over the last week it's been going over my head like everyone else of "Oh god, she's dead ain't she?" and reeling in the feels, but it just doesn't make sense why she did go back.
She was told, by Ozpin that she'd literally get in the way of the fight with Cinder. That she needed to get Jaune out and get help now. When likely leader of the warrior school who leads the group made of the head teacher, basically super spy and leader of 1/4 of the civilized human world who has the biggest military, you really don't take lightly of any orders that guy gives you, even before she knew that she was A+ student/teachers pet/etc. so she'd likely listen to everyword. But after the bit of getting Jaune out, she doesn't listen to a single thing he says.
The destiny angle too. If it was about destiny like they hyped it up to be, least the way she likely thought it was destiny originally, that destiny was shattered/stolen when cinder in fact got the powers. Like, that was her entire idea of destiny to that point. If it changed, it'd likely to have been "defeat cinder" but considering she's been pretty practical, and not just the schoolmaster telling her to run and get help but also the dragon up and about so she'd have to some how deal with that IF she beat cinder so, yeah, no hope there if you're going to be forced in one fight after the other, or worse both at the same time some how.
The only reason I can think of for doing it too is a story-telling reason for rwby which an easiest way to explain it is basically make her Krillin when he died on namek so goku could go super saiyan. she was the sacrificial lamb to unlock/show the hero's untapped powers. But even that doesn't make much sense because Qrow would've likely had told her about her special eyes seeing as how he gives that entire speech of deep lore right after.
Am I over thinking this, wrong, or does this not make any sense?
