[Discussion] A rule for closing up trades
tl;dr at bottom
Hey guys,
This is something I've always thought about when browsing this subreddit, but now I've decided to post about it. I suppose we can't make a hard and fast rule for this, but maybe we can have it considered highly encouraged good sub-reddiquette? Goes like this:
- Please, when you sell an item from a [Trade]/[Store], can you please leave the price it was sold at? All the time I see people actually erase the B/O after selling and replace it with SOLD, but this leaves people who are searching for prices of such items clueless. (Here is an example of what I'm talking about)
This will make things easier for people searching for prices of items, particularly uncommon ones. And it takes virtually no extra work on the part of the seller. Just instead of replacing the B/O with SOLD, just write next to it, such as this seller did.
Edit for clarification: I'm not suggesting to put the price it sold at for every item in every trade - just if you are already going through the trouble of writing that it was sold, don't erase B/O pls
tl:dr Please don't erase the B/O after selling an item. Makes it much easier for people looking to buy the item.
