Male needing advice dating asexual girlfriend

Hey everyone,

Recently, I've been having some issues with my relationship, and I'd usually talk to a friend about this sort of thing, but I'd prefer to get advice from my fellow redditors who may have insight for me.

First off, she has no idea there are issues going on, because I don't know how to express to her that I want more physically/emotionally, without hurting her. I've been covering my sorrow with a veil of a smile. We both have lived with depression and anxiety all of our lives, and I've gotten way too good at pretending like everything is okay. I don't like feeling pitied, and am definitely not interested in getting pity sex.

I've been in love with my girlfriend for 6 months now, and we are both head over heels for one another. We read each others minds constantly, and make each other laugh, and I feel like we are kindred spirits. She moved 75 minutes away recently, and we still see each other every weekend.

A lot of people told me that being far apart will make the time you get to spend more cherishable, and while that is true, I also feel stronger sexual urges for her.

She does consider herself to be asexual, but isn't sure. There is definitely a strong dissinterest in anything beyond snuggling, hand holding, and some...well...honka honkas.

The problem I'm facing is how to cope with wanting more. During the day we have such great times together, but when we lie down at night I just can't help but to feel overwhelmingly depressed.

She enjoys teasing me, getting me turned on, but then I just spend the whole night sexually frustrated and awake with blue balls for hours after she falls asleep. I'm a bit of a masochist but I feel as though I definitely have reached my torture threshold.

When I am awake at night laying next to her I just can't help but feel like I'm not wanted, or worth it, or desired whatsoever. I drive home each weekend in silence, on the verge of crying. I just feel so alone without being able to physically express myself, or to have that physical expression reciprocated.

Is it wrong to feel this way? How do I tell her how I feel without hurting her feelings, or making her feel like she HAS to have sex with me to be with me?

Are we doomed to fail?

Thank you to those of you who have taken the time to read this.
