What did you personally take away from SAO?

Everyone usually takes away a different meaning or feeling from shows, but I want to know what meaning did YOU take away from this show? Could be whatever arc or the story in whole.

Personally, I took the "Never losing a day, but gaining one" and kind of interpreted it as live each day as best you can and think only of the time you have right now and cherish it. What about you guys?
