Some shade-matching help? (Cross-posted with r/MakeupAddiction)

Hello! I've been wearing makeup regularly for the last four or so years, but I've been avoiding foundation in lieu of BB creams and tinted moisturizers which are sheerer and therefore a lot easier to crudely color match. I'm interested in purchasing a nicer, higher coverage, longer-wearing foundation for the first time. My budget is fairly open, although I tend to shy away from foundations that cost more than $65 or so unless it's REALLY worth it. I have combination skin and I moisturize twice a day with some pretty hydrating stuff, although I've learned recently that no amount of hydration can let me wear Tarte's BB primer without getting dry patches. :'( NARS RCC in Custard is a little bit lighter than my actual skintone (which is great for undereye concealing), and the undertone matches perfectly. I've also been loving the AMOREPACIFIC Cushion Compact in 204 lately, but it is a tad dark for me and would be a great summer shade. Generally, it would be nice to add a legit foundation to my makeup horde as well. For demographic info -- I don't know how much this helps -- but I'm Asian and in my early-20s. I've read that NARS Sheer Glow is pretty good in terms of coverage, but I'm not sure what shade I should go with... Or if I should consider some other options for foundations instead. Ideally, it would be nice to see if there are any foundations that feel light, but have at minimum medium coverage. Another one that I heard is good is the MUFE HD foundation. What are your recommendations? I really appreciate any help you might be able to offer me! Thank you!
