Looking for a feature-packed phone that will last me a few years without problems

OP Replied

I recently got a Sony Xperia Z2. The phone was great. I loved the SD card slot, waterproofness, and NFC. The camera is great and the phone feels good in the hand. However, after a month, it began to develop several problems. The SD card slot doesn't work, the screen has bright spots and is unresponsive at times, and there is unexplained battery drain. I'm trying to return the device from my Amazon seller, since it's after the 30-day return window.

After I get a refund for my Z2 (if I can), I plan on getting a new phone, again. I'd like for it to have these features:

  • 128gb storage, whether it be on-board or with SD card

  • At least 2gb RAM

  • Good camera

  • Good build quality and reliability

  • NFC

  • Fingerprint sensor (not necessary, but would be nice)

  • Good battery, or removable battery

  • Upgrade to Marshmallow and hopefully Android N

  • Close to stock android

I'm on AT&T in the U.S. I don't game on my phone, I mainly use Reddit and occasionally take pictures. Sometimes I may play a game or two of something. I don't have a size preference, really.

I've been looking at the Xperia Z5C particularly, but I hear that it gets hot and becomes slow. Also, the Samsung S5, but TouchWiz is a horrible skin. I'm also looking at the Nexus 6p. I'm looking to spend under $500, and under $400 if possible.

Please help with any suggestions! Thank you
