Red bump on cheek which has lasted for weeks

Hello, I'm a first timer here, posting for my girlfriend. She has had this red spot on her face for about a month now. At first we thought it was a bug bite but it still hasnt gone away. It inst acne and we havent tried to treat it with anything yet. When she first got it the spot was smaller and was more "bubbleish" but it has flattened out and grew slightly and occasionally iches. She's planning a trip to the doctor but we just moved to a new area and havent had a chance to find a new one yet. Took a picture as well.
