Does this place exist?

I have a decently long (~3 months) work remote gig that I would like to do somewhere I can also do a fair amount of good diving. My main requirements are the following:

• Reliable internet connection (need this for work)
• Not insanely expensive (everyone has their own financial situation but I'll let you use your good judgement)
• No dry suits or 7 mm wet suits required
• I'd like to be reasonably close to the diving area (within approx 45 minutes)

The nice to have stuff (but not required):

• Interesting culture above water
• Nightlife
• Reasonably warm weather

Note: I currently live in Southern California and let's assume for right now that nowhere in the world is off limits. Also, let's assume that I would be going around April to do this. It might be helpful to know that I have just over 100 dives under my belt (so, no newbie but no pro either). Any help you can provide is much appreciated!
