Socal VFX Groups/Meetings/Artists?

Hey guys! I'm a student in San Diego, and i'm looking to meet with other artists. I know LA is an industry hotspot, but does anyone here live in San Diego, or Orange County? I'd love to have a little meetup, just hang and talk about VFX and everything about it.
