I don't know how to live "well"
A quick stroll through my post history will show, I've not lived the happiest of back stories. But I've got a couple of chances now.
I'm 22, work a nice job, have a fantastic group of friends, and live pretty comfortably. I've also been single for about 8 months now. Finally dealing with the heartache and other issues has allowed me to let a couple of guys in.
Guy one, (Jake) is 30, works with me, kicks ass at it, owns his own condo, and pampers me even though I don't ask for it. He is a total sweetheart and madly into me.
Guy two, (Sam) is 25, works a really interesting job, owns a home and lets his mother and disabled baby brother live with him, treats me like a princess. Is also very into me.
In addition to these guys, there's plenty of others waiting for a chance. (I'm considered pretty to some)
But with these two understanding, successful, amazing guys, I can't see myself getting serious because I want to be able to have a shitty little apartment together, I want to struggle and go through hardships because that's all I've ever known.
Has anyone else dealt with coming from poor backgrounds and found themselves unable to see a future unlike that? I don't wanna mess up a chance to rise up.
(Before people start with messages about having multiple guys, I haven't slept with either, and they know I see other people.)
