Share your character's backstory!

I enjoy coming up with detailed backstories for the characters I play in rpg games. The Division seems to have a wonderful atmospheric setting that can be nicely accommodated with character details of our own making. So I thought it'd be nice if we share the stories and lives of the characters we will play when the game releases.

Here are some questions to get your creative juices flowing.

• What is their name? How old are they? Sex?
• What was their occupation before the outbreak?
• How did they get recruited into the SHD?
• What are their motivations? Goals?
• What do they look like?
• Do they have family? Close relationships? What happened to them during the outbreak? Did they make it through?
• What are their personalities like? They're habits and quirks?

Feel free to add any more details on your characters. It feels nice to share our creations. I'll be posting mine too when I'm done with it. =) Have fun.
