After playing X-Com 2, I really want a Drone wielding "Specialist" class.

For those of you that don't know, X-Com 2 has four classes that include the Ranger (close quarters, Shotgun/sword swinging class), the grenadier (grenades and explosions and heavy weapons) and the Sharpshooter (snipers and pistols). Then they have the Specialist.

The Specialist has a Drone that is sent out to locations to either Hack, shock, or reveal the enemy or heal, buff, or defend an ally.

I'd love it if in Destiny we could get a drone buddy that actually helps in combat. Not that there's anything wrong with Dinklebot, he's a great companion, but he's not a semi expendable remote combat platform!

Imagine if you could run with a drone that fights with you. You can set him up on one side to cover you, or send him to a location to act as a transmat instead of a double jump. Stronger moves could be to dispense ammo or revive team mates from afar to your location.

It's just some idle thoughts.
