At Mania 22 (32) you had the hero Cena (Reigns) going up against the burying machine, hated heel Triple H. And yet despite the best efforts of HHH, who was previously hated by everyone, to be the most dastardly heel possible, he was cheered like a hero against the white meat, forced baby face in Cena (Reigns).

WWE of course completely oblivious to this fact, let Cena (Reigns) win the main event to end the show in a chorus of boos, and then go on to be the champ forever and ever until a new Cena (Reigns) could come along and take his place atop the WWE mountain, unrivalled for many more horrible years to come...
