Sustainable materials for a nomadic design?

I'm designing my home to be moved. A lot. On dirt roads. I initially drafted it with 2x3 steel stud framing, roxul insulation, traditional polymer vapor barriers and aluminum cladding, but I'm wondering if there are sustainable alternatives or designs that provide equal stability and ruggedness. It needs to withstand some pretty nasty bumping and flying bits of gravel.
